Picked up a black Techwoven on Amazon this morning; I’ve been dying to have this case in my hands despite having a 16PM. Using it now and I absolutely love it. The wide cutout doesn’t bother me at all.

Fantastic case! Fan of the open plateau on cases also. Buttons are a dream also.

Pitaka needs to get the PitaTap on the Air’s Ultra Slim. Hopefully next year if there will be another Air next year.
That would be great. It seems a lot of companies are struggling with the narrower width of the camera control on the Air. Phone Rebel has the weird bump, Mous, Andar, and others have a higher than normal lip, and some companies have gone back to a cutout. The only cases I’ve found that have a narrower button to match the phone are the Apple and Beats.
I believe Apple will continue with the Air next year (or spring 2027). They have too much invested in the branding to drop it. I remember the MacBook Air received similar criticisms when it first came out (too pricey, poor battery, etc), but they persevered and it became hugely popular. I believe Apple is playing the long game and the same will eventually happen with the phone.

People with the Paragon, when installing the phone, are you putting the top camera area in first or snapping the phone in from the side?

Most cases, I insert the volume button side first then go around the corners. But with the precise camera cases, I've started going from the top first so the cameras settle into the cutouts first then snap in the bottom corners. Also, taking any case off, I start with the bottom corners first. I've always done it that way.
Semi unrelated - does anyone actually use camera button THAT much?
Guys I need your help! I had a Gray Sheath on my 17PM with some issues, and Liz issued me a replacement, which will hopefully fix the issues. But I’m having doubts whether I should stick with the gray, or should I go black or blue with Ember buttons?

Only to open the camera. I never use it for adjustments.
In use it whenever I take a pic. I have to take a lot of pics at work and it’s very handy.
Folded and ordered the Tan Leather Grip, hate the look of the plateau ramp but comfort wise could be great for resting my finger on while holding

What makes you think that the Grip will be great for resting on your finger while holding?
i mean its a slope instead of a raised lip so its gonna feel better. Might be getting rid of my synthesis cause of it its quite uncomfortable to use one handed
thats if they ship mine by end of this week, said to ship by late november. if not ill cancel it, already have the grip + gen 7 on the way
Sheath is better.
Dont get me wrong Paragon is an excellent case but Sheath is class and class is permanent.
