Just heard back from Caudate about my Paragon order from 11/21. The stock is still not in, even though this was supposed to ship "mid to late November". Likely just going to cancel at this point
Officially canceled. Caudabe makes excellent cases, but this roll out for the 17s might be the stuff of legends for how bad it’s been. Very unfortunate

Cancelling mine too at this point lol, Grip + Gen 7 got me covered on cases that are slim with easy swipes, which imo Gen 7 is even better as it has claw corners and even more protective.

Got home a while ago and decided to slap on the Sheath and give the Paragon a rest. I thought I liked the Paragon slightly better but now I don’t know. The Sheath just checks all the boxes.

Without factoring weight I call the Sheath “the non silicone Apple silicone”. All around same texture, all around grip, curvy edges, clicky buttons. No fingerprints unlike the Apple Silicone.
I forced myself to use the Apple Silicone over thanksgiving to break it in and now I understand your hype.

I just got my sheath today and it’s a brick! It’s so heavy after using the Apple silicone.

Sheath is better.

Dont get me wrong Paragon is an excellent case but Sheath is class and class is permanent.
I’m considering these caudabe cases, but their unavailability on Amazon makes it challenging to make a decision. I can’t simply purchase all three to test their feel. The paragon case appears appealing, but I have a hunch it might be too slippery for me and could potentially attract fingerprints. The synthesis design would likely be perfect, but I’m not a fan of the frosted back on my orange phone. The sheath looks great, but I’m unfamiliar with that particular texture style.

Currently, I own the Torras q3 air case, and it’s not even close to being worth the money. It’s a fingerprint magnet on the back, which is surprising because ultra hybrid Spigen cases with very similar frosted backs never got greasy for me. Additionally, I don’t need the air bubbles that add bulk.

The texture on the Sheath you’re either going to love it or hate it, no in between.

This forum has always been a bit of a Caudabe circle-jerk (I’m as guilty as the next person). I think we talk about them so much because they deliver spectacular cases one minute and spectacular failures the next.
Don’t worry give it time until the condom ring starts.

Just received the Paragon in Moonstone (open) and in black (precise) for my iPhone 17 Pro. Placed the order 23/11, so 9 days from order to receiving in Oz was a pleasant surprise.

Initial impressions for the Moonstone, getting the case on felt tighter than the sheath and synthesis. The TPU frame looks lighter in person than the website renders, the colour is the same as the gray sheath. The back of the case has a smooth, sort of light textured sheen that doesn’t leave any fingerprints. The Moonstone reminds me of the Nomad Modern case in Lunar Gray but with better grip.

At the moment, my Caudabe case ranking goes Synthesis Frosted, Paragon, Sheath.

Here’s some shots of the Moonstone Paragon with the silver buttons installed. They go together really nicely I think.

If I order a Paragon, open plateau is defintiely the way to go

When I first ran the Sheath it felt like a brick too. I kept going back to the Apple Silicone. Then one day I said f it I’m going to run it. I got used to the weight eventually and now it feels great.
