    I second this.
I know the OP's intentions are good, but the chances are slim.

But I'm glad there are people still like this out there. It makes me realise that I shouldn't lose complete faith in humanity...yet....

There is always an alternative motive, even if that is just to make him feel selfishly good about himself and try to get brownie points on here.

I'm with the OP, I once found a 3GS, fortunately the owner sat right next to me and when he left, I ran to him to give his phone back.

why don't you try looking in the contacts and call "home" or one of the most recent calls to figure out who the owner is. Why do you think the person is going to be a member here? LOL

    I work for Verizon...

If you bring it in we can get it back to the owner.

FYI, Stockton is not the Bay Area, in fact, Stockton is about 120 miles away from the Bay Area and in actually considered Northern Valley or Northern California.

Well obviously going into the contacts app and calling the last number dialed (or any number for that matter) or taking it to Verizon is to much of an effort, its easier to pretend that you had good intentions but honestly had no intention of actually returning the phone. He made up his mind long before the first post.
