I'm going to be replacing my iPhone 4 screen, and was wondering where everyone has had the best luck buying a 3rd party screen? I've had luck replacing an old 3GS screen with a $5 screen off amazon, but wasn't sure if the iPhone 4 screens are the same?

Screen replacement in the 4 is 10x harder. You have to completely disassemble the phone. Not like the 3G's where you just removed and replaced. Might not be worth the hassle. I buy a lot of my screens on ebay.

For the record I would not spend less than $40 on a screen unless you wanted complete ass quality.

iPhone 4 screens are a hard fix. They're about $40 a pop but the labor is .. intensive. If you're not too low on funds I'd suggest an out of warranty replacement at the Apple store. $150 + tax and you worry about nothing plus you get a new phone.
