If I were to buy an iPhone 4S/5 in the US and bring it to the UK, would the Apple warranty be valid internationally?

Also, I know that the US iPhone 5 will not work on LTE networks in the UK, but there's no reason that the 4S/5 US would not work on GSM networks in the UK, right?

I know Apple has international warranty on iPad. I bought an iPad in Singapore but it can be fixed in the US. I think iPhone should be the same.

iPhone 4S/5 can work on all networks below LTE. The only thing is if your existing carrier is GSM, you cannot use CDMA. If you're using CDMA now you can use GSM.

So either way, you CAN use UK's GSM networks.

I believe that the iphone doesn't have international warranty, so if you purchased it in U.S, warranty won't work in U.K. (Unless Apple changed their policy on warranty recently but I highly doubt it).
