So, is anyone going to be braving West Quay on Friday morning? I have never queued in advance for an iPhone launch and so not too sure what I should be expecting? Have the other launches for iPhones been busy in West Quay? I did queue for the iPad 2 and that was ridiculous, but was not sure if the iPhone had the same appeal + the fact you can buy it from many phone shops as well.

Kind of wishing I pre-ordered one onilne now, and am a little annoyed they are not taking reservations this year!

I heard last year was mental. I walked past at about 6pm and people were still queueing, but I'm not sure if they were the pre-order guys picking up.

I live in St Marys, but I don't think I could brave the early morning (plus get time off work), I think people were queueing from 5am last time, they set up several queues outside the building, & let people in from 6am I think.

I'm sure you won't be alone.. have fun!!!

Getting ready to head in, hopefully arriving by 6:50. Fingers crossed for a reasonable queue!

Well given this was the queue at 2am http://twitpic.com/700jd8 - I'm not holding out for much there after I finish work at 11!

Might try bestbuy in Hedge End, or the O2 store in Shirley. Went to Shirley O2 last year at 10.30 AM and there were only 7 people in the queue (compared to the 150 odd at WQ)

I arrived at 6:50 and it's now 8:50. So close to getting in the store now! Have my ticket so just have to wait! They seem to have loads in stock! Might be worth a try?

Are you queuing inside or outside? - I'm really tempted to give it a go if the queue isn't too big!

Started outside, but now inside. Thinks its around to hollister (or there abouts)
