    Hi All,

Coming from HTC Android phones I habitually always turn off WIFI on my iPhone 4S to save battery life. Except when I'm at home obviously.

Now, I work in a area where the 3G signal is flakey at best (Vodafone, Leeds (UK)), but I've noticed that leaving my WIFI turned on, although its not connected to anything, improves my 3g signal. Is this possible or am I imagining it?

Probably the best way to know for sure is to put your iPhone in Field Test Mode, with WiFi on and off, and see the dB readings indicate.

Thanks - seems to make no difference, therefore I can conclude I was indeed imagining it!
