My iPhone 5's battery is acting a little weird.

Sometimes the battery holds up pretty well and stays around the 100% to 80% rather well.

But some days it runs from 100% to 60% in a matter of hours.

I don't live in a 3G area during most standard days so its always on Wifi.

Today I took a test. I unplugged the iPhone after fully charging and didn't use it at all for an hour. And the battery is 91% without even using the phone.

    Any help?

    Ross

Hi Ross, Did you try doing a settings reset?

    Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings

See if that works, according to people that fixed their battery issues.

And what settings does this reset exactly before I do it?

    Thanks for the help!

Everything. You will have your apps though.

It resets internet settings, notification settings, music settings.

This is usually caused by a rogue app that is killing your usage - constantly making the phone use the processor so it never really goes in standby.
