Hi Everyone! Somehow the prongs in the iPhones charger port are bent and the charger wont go in. How much would this cost to get replaced? I noticed that Chris Prillo got his iPhone with a cracked screen replaced for free...

It's either free or $229. Depend on whether or not the "Genius" decides it is your fault. You'll probably get it for free.

Was it like that when you bought it? In which case, it would be a warranty issue. If nothing else, they have a good return policy, so you could return it and say you're not satisfied with it, which is true.

If you've had it for awhile and something got dented/broken, it would be your fault, and they likely shouldn't replace it for you for free, but you might get lucky. They don't often "repair" a client phone, they just replace it. Oh, and do you have AppleCare+?
