Can someone confirm this?
LTD, HSPA+ ("4G", but really 3.5), 3G, EDGE as well.
Has everything all the way down to EDGE and GPRS in the middle of nowhere.
Same with Verizon. We get LTE, 3G, and 1X.
That is what sucks with Verizon, if you go outside 3G range, you immediately hit dial-up speeds, where as AT&T has a nice robust EDGE network to fallback to which offers up to 4x-5x dial-up speeds.
Has anyone here have seen an iPhone 5 on 3G? I've seen mine go to E, but never to 3G. I thought it only shows 4G.
The times I drop below 3G are pretty rare unless I'm traveling, so it's not a huge deal.
True, but still, at the wrong moment can mean a profanity based ride.
Yeah, I've hit AT&T's EDGE network maybe once or twice, and it wasn't unbearable, to be honest. It was about the speed of my friend's iPhone 5 on 3G, which I thought was funny.
AT&T Edge is comparable to Sprints 3G in many areas. Also AT&T doesn't have very much Edge only areas left. Most places at least have 3G now
It has all three
Yeah, my friend's iPhone happened to be Sprint. He hates them.
