I can't remember if Apple allowed store pickup for preorders on launch day. Last year I had it shipped to my house but I want to be part of the "hoopla" this year.
The option is greyed out and the text says "items unavailable for in-store pick up" so you'll only be able to have it shipped, or be lucky and show up early.
