+1 Awesome stand. I've had the M2 stand since my iPhone 4 and it works just as well with the 5. Elago also has great customer support.
Yes. Enough space there for the thickest of cases.
I don't have a camera other than my iPhone so I can't post pictures of my phone in it, but I can tell you that my iPhone 5 using a Casemate Barely There case fits perfectly in there. I'm not 100% sure, but I think there's enough room for any case to fit in there.
That's a great looking stand! I think that will be my next purchase. I have the Speck grip case, would that fit ok?
I think it will. I had the Speck Pixelskin HD and Fitted case and they both fit nicely.
I am also interested in the scratch question. Very much want to get this stand for my office since it seems like there is not going to be an Apple dock. Is there anything to keep the phone from directly contacting the metal of the stand? Can anyone with iPhone 5s comment on potential scratching?
i went ahead and purchased a black version of the elago stand from amazon.
i can sadly confirm that there is nothing to prevent the back of the phone from touching the metal of the stand.
it seems it should be easy enough to fix by placing some rubber strips on the stand where phone's back rests. (haven't found any nice rubber strips yet, however).
otherwise, this stand is very nice.

i got my elago stand today, and i gotta say i love it
i cant believe i never bought this before for the iphone 4
and this thing is small, , i was expecting it to be bigger, is perfect for facetime or watching videos, also looks very nice having the phone on your desk

The Breffo Spiderpodium is a great iPhone 5 holder because you can use it in to many different places: car, office, on flights etc as the legs bend into different positions so it's very easy to fix in place.

Bringing this back from the dead, only because I saw these on the shelf at my local Urban Outfitters store in SF its all alluminum for $30. (about the same price or so as the Elago after shipping)
Any report on these, anyone got one? Hows the suction? I noticed on the box is says not to be used with a case....Otherwise I really like it..
I like this Milo because I have the iphone5, (earphone jack bottom left). The ELAGO stand in portrait mode is an issue if you want to use your earphones.

If you do have a case you can still use the stand, it has a rubber up-curve lip near the front of the base so that you can lean the phone up against the stand in both portrait and landscape with a fair amount of stability.
This looks like a sure keeper...

I have a ton of stands and I like the cheap Motorola Flip stand the best. It's not great for charging unless you have the phone in landscape. It's a great stand that everything fits in perfect. The iPhone 5 in cases or just naked.
