I Hope to be there about 10-11pm the night before! What about you guys?
I plan on getting the first subway in so 6:30am ish
I should be there around 5:45-6am. Not queued for a major Apple release before (other than the iPad 4 at Covent Garden in London, but there was only around 40-50 people for that).
I'm thinking of coming through from Edinburgh.
Have any of you been to Buchanan st. on launch day before? If i make it in at about 10/11am do you think there'll still be stock of the 5s? Surely there will...
This thread went quiet... I'll be there!
Having read about Australia trying to order the iPhone 5s and being shown delivery dates of 7-10 days from the get go, I will probably be showing up at Buchanan Street around 4-4:30am.
Any idea how big the line is? I last saw it at 20:30 and it was about 10 people or so.
When I asked the Genius a couple of days ago he reckoned that anyone who was in the line at 8am would probably get one. But he wasn't sure about anyone arriving after that. That was just his guess though, he said he didn't know how many were arriving in the store.
Early train it is then!
I'll be there. Frightening that there's folk queuing already!
Will be heading down around 5:45'ish to 6.
Anyone know what Braehead is like around launch times? Do they let you queue inside or.....
I'd like to know that too. Can't decide whether to go to Braehead or Buchanan St! I think the latter will have more stock, but also more customers...
Any update on queue size for those there right now?
Im just heading into Buchanan street if its too busy I'll go to Braehead i heard some stories about last year at Braehead being really fast and being let inside the centre.
Just arrived at Buchanan Street. Queue is just past TSB on St Vincent St. right now.
I got here at about 4.10 and just standing at TSB. Looks like it goes back to corner now.
How many roughly?
On my way.... come on Scotrail
We might be on the same train!
150 or so maybe? Perhaps more... I'm not great at estimating this stuff
If it ever arrives...come on 0634!
They've just moved everyone to the front of the store with the barriers. Queue doesn't look so bad anymore, but there's a fair few people behind me now...
At braehead just now.
Queue is all the way upstairs - they let people in from the HMV doors. I recon around 140 people. See attached.
16 gigs totally sold out at braehead
16GB sold out at Buchanan Street. The guys with the tickets are roughly only 1/4 of the way through the queue. :S
Only 64gb gray left
