Yeah, I don't know man. Probably both I would assume. I am just trying to think what time I should arrive. I don't want to camp out but I don't want to arrive at 8AM and see everything sold out either.

Neither. This is why I keep saying that the Palladio in Folsom is screaming for an Apple Store.

Either way, I'd say that you lose nothing in waiting, except for the experience. It may be better waiting.

If I had a choice, I'd hit Roseville. At least it's classier there.

No.. but if I did, based off of the lines for the 4, I would do Roseville, especially for 2 reasons:

    1. Better family resources. That family room upstairs at the food court is nice. Family parking. Stork parking.

    2. Starbucks is around the corner, and they've been more than accommodating, especially with the wifi there, alongside Apple's wifi, and the mall's wifi.

    3. (yes, I know I said 2, but what the hell! :) ) Who knows? with Burberry there, Emma Watson may show up. Bonus if she shows up with Emma Bunton! :D

Seriously, If they sell out, I'd consider a drive up to Summit Sierra and take my chances there. Otherwise, I'd rather wait.

Does anyone know if Arden Fair Mall Security is doing the same thing with all Apple Launches, wait in your car in the parking lot, then line up 4am Friday Morning or something ??

    ----------

Yeah tomorrow night I am around 9pm... I'm trying to find out if Mall Security is allowing people to wait in their cars like last time or possibly line up ?

Update on Line at Arden Fair Mall

I talked to Arden Fair Mall Security earlier today and told me the following:

4:00AM - people can start lining up outside, front part of mall
6:00AM - will lead people inside to the Apple Store line
    8:00AM - Apple Store Opens!!!

I'm pretty sure they will allow people to wait in their cars till 4:00am but I'm not quite sure on this though! Can someone drive by there and find out ??

    ----------

planning on heading down there between 2am and 3am to check things out...

I wonder how bad this is going to be. It might be my first time, that or I'll just order online.

I was thinking of ordering online, but after hearing the news of the 5s Pre-Orders Selling out soo fast in other countries made me think twice about it !!

So I will be heading out to Arden really early around 2am to wait in line!

    ----------

Does anyone know if we can wait in our cars at the front parking lot ?? Can someone verify this or drive by and find out ?

Any Sacramentans here know if there's going to be a line at the Target on Broadway?

Edit: Looks like they're only doing reservations and aren't going to sell them to people who show up in the morning. *Phew*

This is what I thought. No way was I going to brave the chaos of the lines there to get one of 2 phones. I have no problem with waiting, as I'm already sure that by the time they get more in stock, a new iOS update is going to be out anyway. So may as well wait until more stock comes in and things are stable.

Anybody planning on camping out here? If so, what would the suggested time be to guarantee one for someone whose never camped out before?

You basically have two options in the Sacramento Area; Either the Apple Store at the Roseville Galleria or the more popular spot which is the Apple Store at the Arden Fair Mall where most of the News Media usually head up to!

I camped out last year for the iPhone 5s at the Arden Fair Mall, and Mall Security allowed people to line up by the Bus Stop Area along Arden Way on Thursday Night, then they moved everybody up towards the Mall Entrance and escorted everybody in around 4am.. With the iPhone 5s, people didn't start arriving till like 7pm or 8pm last year, but with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus expect a much bigger crowd this time!!!

Will be taking Thursday Off and planning on camping out there in my Car at the parking lot the whole day till a line starts to form. My family thinks I'm crazy, but with not being able to Pre-Order for those first 3 hours, I'm that desperate for a 6 Plus iPhone or whatever model they have available in stock!!

Lol, I just realized I was the one who created this thread last year ahahaha. MS, what time did you actually get in line to get yourself a spot, and did you get what color/model you wanted? I am thinking of the Roseville Galleria one but I am not sure yet.

Last Year for the iPhone 5s Launch Day, I was able to get a Gold 16GB Model
T-Mobile. If I remember correctly, I got there between 8pm or Close to 9pm.

I live in South Sacramento, so the Arden Fair Mall Location would work out better and its the closest to me, and I know few of the employees who work at that Apple Store!

And I will most definitely be at Arden Fair Mall this Thursday!!!

Have any idea how the schedule would look like this year? Since according to some news apple is giving out reservation pass on 5am. Would the mall be open then?

And last year, do all of you guys waited in car and rushed to front door at 4? Or u all waited at the door until 4?

    Many thx

I had my 6+ order coming on October, so I'm most probably be there on Thursday.
