iPhone 5s unlocked if bought at full price?

It is AT&T iPhone 5s, I paid full price, the receipt says "No Wireless Service Activation during iPhone Sale"

I've reviewed some threads here, it seems that this phone is unlocked, is that correct?

I believe that is correct, particularly if you never gave them a cell number or account during the transaction. But I could be wrong. If you connect to iTunes it will tell you if the phone is unlocked.

Yes just plug it into iTunes and restore. After the restore you will get an unlocked message!

I gave them my phone number and they activated it, but I paid full price so mine still unlocked.

No, never gave them account or phone number to attach. Don't want to open it, still sealed and ready for sale!
