Unfortunately I'm one of those unlucky one's who couldn't get my pre-order in.. Three hours of not being able to get in was just plain Fk'd Up Ridiculous!!!

Will be Spending my Next Thursday Sept 18th Afternoon Camping out in hopes of getting an iPhone 6 Plus!

Does Anyone know if Arden Mall Security is letting us line up by the Bus Stop like with the iPhone 5s Release ??

I haven't done the overnight wait in line in so long. I was able to get a preorder in through att but the shipping date shows oct-nov. I'm thinking about heading to either arden or roseville.

I was at the iPhone 5s Launch last year at Arden Fair Mall. Mall security had everybody line up by the bus stop along Arden Way, then moved everybody by the mall entrance!

These two father and son group who got there right when mall security moved everybody ran around behind some parked cars and cut everybody in line who were there earlier and made racial Derogatory remarks at everybody, myself and this one other guy who I was talking too, claiming they were their first although they weren't!!! This father was siding with his son who was basically trash talking this other guy that I was talking with earlier. I could've of knocked out this son guy if I wanted to, but that would of created a brawl and getting kicked out of the mall.

This is just to let you know how bad it can get at times on Apple Release Launch Days!
If Mall Security had common sense, they should have escorted everybody together...

By the way, be aware the Apple Store at Arden Fair is no longer on the second floor (for those who haven't been there since last year. :) ) The space that used to be the Apple Store on the second floor is now part of a huge Victoria's Secret store.

The Apple Store is now located on the first floor on a much larger storefront.

Since I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 (64 GB Space Grey), I don't have to suffer the long line like the one parodied in those old Samsung commercials.

I am aware of the new Store Location on the 1st Floor as I've been there few times already and know few of the Employees that work there!

Hoping Mall Security will have a better understanding next Thursday and learn from previous Apple Launch Days!! Unlike last year where it was chaotic with these two Father and Son Douchebags who were cutting in line, thinking they were there earlier with everyone else...

You basically have two options in the Sacramento Area; Either the Apple Store at the Roseville Galleria or the more popular spot which is the Apple Store at the Arden Fair Mall where most of the News Media usually head up to!

I camped out last year for the iPhone 5s at the Arden Fair Mall, and Mall Security allowed people to line up by the Bus Stop Area along Arden Way on Thursday Night, then they moved everybody up towards the Mall Entrance and escorted everybody in around 4am.. With the iPhone 5s, people didn't start arriving till like 7pm or 8pm last year, but with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus expect a much bigger crowd this time!!!

Will be taking Thursday Off and planning on camping out there in my Car at the parking lot the whole day till a line starts to form. My family thinks I'm crazy, but with not being able to Pre-Order for those first 3 hours, I'm that desperate for a 6 Plus iPhone or whatever model they have available in stock!!

I agree with the escorting of everybody. The mall security at Arden fair is terrible at managing the group. I have done the bus stop waiting for 2 years in a row and people always run (pretend to walk) from the bus stop to the mall entrance and end up cutting in line. It can be very frustrating to say the least.

I wish they would operate the line like they did for the first iPhone. I camped out in the mall for 20 Hours, i was 8th in line. They allowed us to sleep in the mall over night right in front of the apple store along the railing.

This year i got a preorder but was only able to get one at the stockton street store in San Francisco so i will be waiting in line there.

    Good luck everyone

For those of us who are planning on camping out Thursday Night at the Arden Fair Mall, and if Mall Security allows people to wait by the Bus Stop Area (along Arden Way), we should Create a Sign-Up list as people arrive just to keep tabs on things so we know who is number 5, 7, 10.. and so forth!!

And if you were at the iPhone 5s launch last year, I'm pretty sure you remember these two douchebags (the white guy on the left with the mustache & the other white guy directly right next to him with a beard/mustache wearing a Soccer Logo Shirt). These two idiots thought it would be wise to run behind some parked cars, thus cutting many people line who have been waiting there much earlier throughout the night. They both falsely claimed they've been waiting much earlier than everybody else and even better they thought it would be a good idea to block those people who were their earlier from lining up. They are both in a sense pretty good dishonest liars !!!

I'll probably be showing up around 9PM at Arden. Camped out for the iPhone 5 two years ago, which was pretty uneventful.

I was there last year. 3rd in line. The main trick is to get to know the people around you and establish your place in line. A sign up list is not a bad idea.
We started in front of the main entrance. I got there at 9pm and was third. We were moved to the bus stop at the street after the mall closed. At 5am security moved the line back to the Starbucks. People ran and scrambled even though they were told to be orderly. I can't walk that fast so I was pushed back by a ton of people but because I made an effort to get to know the people around me we all vouched for each other and banded together to keep our places in line.
When they let us into the mall they let us in 10 at a time and threatened to kick out anyone who ran or cut the line. We lined up at the store and were given reservation slips for our chosen make and model. At some point I think we got breakfast burritos and water and granola bars courtesy of Apple. Then the store opened and we got phones.

I remembered it being a bit earlier than 5am when Mall Security moved everyone from the bus stop area to the Entrance by Starbucks, 2am to 3am. Then walked people 10 at a time around 5am..

So if I got there around 4am and waited outside that mall? Is that good? Apple Arden says 5am is when security will slowly let people into the mall.

Last year for the i5s, mall security allowed everyone to wait by the Bus Stop along Arden Way, then moved everyone by Mall Entrance near Starbucks around 2am-3am. They let people inside the mall 10 at a time at 5am

It's gets really chaotic when Mall Security moves everybody from the Bus Stop to the Mall Entrance, and Mall Security does a really piss poor job in handling this!! And that's the time when you have those idiots who think they have a right to cut everybody in line who've been there waiting for several hours the previous day!

MS, you should save me a 16GB Plus any color and let me pick it up at 9AM from you. I'll have cash at hand! Hahahaha. The waiting is just going to kill me by the time morning falls. Lol.

I have my reserved for pickup, but will probably get there right around opening and hope the pickup line isn't too crazy. Does anyone recall if they split the line in previous years? I know Roseville did for the iPad, I assume this would be the same.

I was wondering what around what time I should arrive for the launch? (at Galleria) This will be my first launch so also wondering what I should bring (like a survival guide) Thanks. I am hoping to get a Space Grey 64gb 6 on sprint's network.
