iPhone 6 iOS 8 - Facebook YouTube Videos No Sound When Phone Is On Silent?

Hi,

When I'm on the Facebook app and I try to play a video no sound plays when my phone is on silent. However, if I remove it from silent mode then the sound plays.

I always keep my phone on silent and I never had this issue with previous iOS versions.

Does anyone else have this issue? Has anyone found a fix for this?

Don't have this issue with my 5s. You have to click on the video in Facebook to make sound play and YouTube plays sound with the switch on mute as well.

Started noticing it about a couple of months ago even in iOS 7. Something new and not very consistent.

My girlfriends 5c on 8.0.2 does that same thing.
Mutes videos when the switch is on silent, but my 5s does not.
She allot of crashing issues on top of that, that I also do not have.
