So, who is waiting in line at the La Cantera Apple store for iPhone 6. I've just moved to San Antonio, any previous veterans out there recommend a time to get there?

I was originally planning on waiting at a T-Mobile store early tomorrow morning, but they have no idea what they'll be getting. Some even told me that they probably won't be getting the 6 Plus because they're supposedly being used to fulfill pre-orders...

I'll probably hit up the La Cantera Apple store later this evening to see how long the line is. I called earlier and was told that there already was a small line.

I was also told that the store at North Star Mall had no line. Not sure how they're going to handle it either.

I called and they said they were not allowing people to Line up at North star.

    ----------

That we could only just show up at 5 am when doors opened.

Which means the line at La Cantera will be noticeably longer.

Given the rumors of extremely limited stock of iPhone 6 Pluses, I don't think I'll even try. Will stick with my pre-order (preparing for shipment).

I was first in line and am keeping a sign-in list with names at North Star with the help of the other 9 people currently on the list. Mall security will not allow any lines or loitering until 4am outside the mall. If you show up at 5 u won't be first I assure you. Not trying to sound harsh at all just saying people are and will be waiting all night just in their cars not in line.

How can I get on that list? But who is going to enforce it?

    ----------

So can you wait in the parking lot in your car?

So are most people going to be staying in their vehicles until 4AM?

I'd rather give North Star a shot compared to La Cantera. I plan on driving around in a few hours to scope them out and several other places.

Glad this only happens for one or two days out of the year :/.

Right now until mall closes at 9 we can wait in cars in garage. Mall GM just decided we have to move out of mall to bus stop (can leave car but can't stay in it) after mall closes. I have people rotating to keep track of people that line up there and they relay that to me. The power of the people will ensure we use the list to maintain order.

Just stopped by. No line anywhere, just a few groups of people with folding chairs near the parking lot. Maybe 20 people total.

Employee said the official line, started by the manager, will be formed much later.

He also said that the stock of 6 Pluses is expected to be very limited, based on what he saw online... Still debating whether or not to wait sometime.

Update: Security moved everyone into an organized line on the side of the building. Still astound 20 people.

The list is 32 deep. Not allowed to line up or loiter anywhere. Grouping around bus stop with line of sight to mall doors. Security has posted a guy watching us.

It's 62 and counting who will enforce it as they have all bought in. What's better? A few hundred people bum rushing the door hurting each other?
