I hope to be there - pre ordered with Phones4U on Friday but now need to re-evaluate what I should do.

Looking at your previous launch day posts, 3am sounds a reasonable time to turn up.

Any tips from a hardened pro like yourself?

I am thinking of turning up around 3-4 am. Couple of years ago I queued outside Cabot Circus in Bristol but the number of queue jumpers did my head in. They would just lean against a tree around which the queue snaked, and would then nonchalantly join in.

Guys it's pretty civilised at Bath. Only one queue outside the store going around the left hand corner as you. look at the store from the front. and around 6pm the apple guys put the queuing gates up.
I have queued there 4 times with no issues or queue jumpers but some of the scalpers do try and nick a place or two in the queue but they are normally sent packing back to where they came from.
If you get there around 3ish there won't be more than 30 people,in the queue. It does start to get busy after 4am though and the queue swells to around 300 by 6am which is pretty low by most apple store standards

I'm thinking of doing Bath, either staying at work overnight, or coming in by taxi early in the morning.

Could anyone suggest how early I'd need to get there? (Never done this before!)

As long as you are there by 4am, you should be able to get the phone and colour of your choice

I'm in the queue right now, under the little Southgate tunnel, due to the weather. Everyone seems friendly and is in good spirits.
Somebody from Apple has been round taking names onto an ipad, presumably to stop people pushing in later (good idea, although I think some people have given more than 1 name??)
    About 30 people so far.

    Many more turning up?

    The storms have been amazing.

I'm looking at coming over now, feels really early but having been let down by Phones4U and EE, I guess I need to spend the night queuing! We must be mad!!

Can you park in the Southgate car park??

    See you there!!

Just reached. Seems like they moved the queue to a different place due to rain. 50 odd people in the queue?

The last number taken by the Apple guy was about 100. That was about 15 minutes ago.

I'd suggest it's an even split between those buying to keep and those buying to sell #
