Have they put those trams in the city centre yet? I went to university there and it wasn't done when I left.

Trams aren't finished yet, but New St station was reopened yesterday.
I guess there won't be many people queueing this year as the reserve to pickup window stayed open much longer.
Picking my 6S Plus up after my shift on Friday.

Gutted I tried to reserve one on pre order day, as I went to reserve one and put my email address and password in apple found it a convenient time to tell me my password needed changing. So by the time I messed around sorting that I missed out on the one I wanted to reserve  just hoping from queueing I get the one I want now

Who's thinking you'll need to be there earlier than last year?

I doubt it, looks like not many people are going to be queueing. Normally loads of people are commenting on here. Looks like a lot of people have pre ordered or reserved this year

Just wondering - I did the Milton Keynes store last time after checking the different local stores and how nice it'd be to queue etc. Got there before 9pm, and was maybe 15th or so in the queue - boy did that queue grow.

The forum section did only recently open though?

Oh right! Nice, was that 9pm the night before the release? Yea I've just noticed this thread has been moved into the "iPhone Launch Meetups" category. May see more people commenting now.

Yup. I went with MK as I thought i'd park up overnight easily enough, check the queue, maybe mooch around the centre, and maybe catch a film before queueing up. Saw a dozen or so there already with tent etc lol, so sat down and queued. Because of the pre-order queue, even if fairly near the front of the non-preorder queue it took a while to get served, but the drinks and (food? think there was food) reached the first wave of queuers.

Did the Bullring ages ago - remember getting there and the queue was already at the cinema... They do have a fair few in stock at the Bullring, was just in the last few getting a phone by queueing for the iPhone 5.

Thinking about it, it is kinda quiet, considering it's wednesday - and if there's a queue, some will be queueing from Thursday night.
