same here. i googled it and it recommended waiting a while because everybody is trying to install it at the same time during a new update. This is my first iphone so hopefullt its nothing to worry about

It’s doing the same thing to me on 11.0.1. Guess I’ll try again tomorrow. Tried twice and it says ‘verifying update’ but then never does it.
