My guess would be to delete an app or two, since there is really limited space on the boot partition. The iPod surely uses this as part of the memory for the system, and with too many apps there might not be enough room for the apps to run within the partition.
A guess only, but maybe try eliminating an app that you don't use too much.
AHHHHHHH i've got maps on my springboard. i opened it and it shows maps for 3 secs and goes back to springboard. then i go into putty and type that line of code, close putty and reset ipod. i still get the same thing! is there something i'm missing? i used winscpcopied the maps folder with a bunch of png images, a maps file, pkginfo file and an info quicktime prefrence file inside of it to the applications folder on the ipod touch. is there a concrete tutorial on how to do this?
please help!!!
