I successfully jailbroke the touch and added the iphone apps. But when I click on them my iPod freezes and returns to the home screen. What do I do?

My guess would be to delete an app or two, since there is really limited space on the boot partition. The iPod surely uses this as part of the memory for the system, and with too many apps there might not be enough room for the apps to run within the partition.

A guess only, but maybe try eliminating an app that you don't use too much.

for windows:

go back into Putty (in extracted touchfree folder), login to iPod touch using IP address, username, password

type

/bin/chmod -Rf +x /Applications/

close putty and try opening apps again. it worked for me
