Is it possible to use the iPhone as an FM radio receiver without using data (LTE or WiFi)?

I heard a commercial of some sort on some radio station while I was in my car. They were asking folks to download an app that allows the phone to become a radio receiver. They were emphasizing that it would work even in emergencies where cell phone towers were not working.

I hope I hear that ad again some time. I'll pay more attention. I figured I'd just google for it and information about the app would show up.

Do Android/Blackberry phones have this?

My iPod Nano 5th Gen has an AM/FM receiver. :D

I can even pause live radio. :D

It uses the earphone wires as the antenna.
