iPhone capabilities?

Hi all,

I haven't been an iPhone user for quite some time now. One of the big deal breakers for me was not being able to listen to music and google maps navigation simultaneously. Is this something that's been fixed since I used one?

Just tested for you yea it works when the navigation brod says something the music dims but comes back to full volume when she is done yapping
