iPhone developer Amro Mousa reports (via Ars Technica) that Apple has added a new feature to its iTunes Connect interface for developers administering their iPhone applications submitted to the App Store, allowing developers to schedule sale prices for their applications in advance.

Developers previously were required to manually update pricing tier selections if they wished to adjust App Store pricing for their applications.

This is good but they need to be better about how they treat the developers. The also need to figure out how to better organize the app store. They should have a wishlist and reccomendations.

Wow, that’s going to save developers some late nights waiting for midnight!

Agreed that developers need to be treated with more predictability/consistency. But Apple has long been moving in the right direction, however slowly.

Is there an "on sale" section of the app store? Or a badge that notes an app's discounts price? I'm happy when i find an app on sale.

They already have both of those.
