I bought a second hand iPhone 6 64gb of eBay. Any ideas?

The iPhone 6 was discontinued when the 6s came out last year. The phone is probably fine. Chipmunk is all wet....

OK mystery solved. I got in contact with the seller, he said it was a replacement from the genius bar in April 2016, he got his previous phone in 2015 so that is where to two dates are coming from.

Are the replacements from the Genius bar reliable enough? Checking the battery stats its only had 30 charge cycles and the phone itself looks like new.

You have the same chance of a defects with a refurbish as you do with a new phone. I do not buy that the refurbs are checked over more carefully. Both have about the same chance of defects.

I would say, at worst, it is the same chance of failure or defect, but it could be slightly better.
