iPhone speed with iOS 6

    friends are telling me that iOS 6 will make my iPhone 4 SLOWER.. true?

    thanks :) obviously i have ip4 and wonder if i should do iOS 6

    They're removing the native Phone app on the 4 and older.

    running the beta iOS software on mine and it is not noticeably slower ...

    I've been running the betas on my iPod touch 4 (which is an iPhone 4 with half the RAM) and performance is identical to iOS 5: pretty crap.

    I wouldn't worry about your iPhone getting slower, iOS 6 seems to be very good in this regard.

    Well I don't know about the others in this thread, but I've already tried iOS6 on my 4 and it works just as well (if not slightly faster) - just my experience.

    I have not noticed anything being slower on my 4. If anything, Safari feels snappier.

    iOS 6 runs just about the same as iOS 5 did on my 4

    Seems like its running just fine. Maybe even a touch faster
