iPhone v1 + 2.0 = Shorter Battery Charge?

I have noticed that my gen 1 iPhone battery has been getting drained a lot quicker. I do have a few apps that I downloaded, and I think that they are not the culprit, but who knows? Anyone else notice this?

same here, the apps are really energy consuming I guess but usually it takes more than a day to drain the battery and today the battery was empty around 5pm (fully charged at 7am)

Maybe it's because we've been playing on it a lot more? since ywe're all excited about new apps and stuff....

yeah i was going to say the same thing... that you probably just used your phone a lot more than usual. I charged mine last night cause I was at 20% after playing with it all day.

Same here the battery drainage is SUBSTANTIAL in comparisoon to prior firmware.

What is strange is that the drain is FAST even in standby.

I've been disappointed with the battery life as well. Possibly a firmware update could improve this with some better battery management?
