My wife’s iPhone X won’t power on. Tried charging it. Resetting. Plugging into the computer. None of the Apple stores around me have any genius availability this week. Would a Best Buy authorized service center have refurbs to swap it out under AppleCare? Or are they just going to mail it out for 5 days, as I could do myself? Terrible timing to have a problem with an Apple device after the new releases. I wish I could just do an express replacement but I don’t believe I have $1,000 for a hold on any credit card.
