I had tried everything i could find online. I used ziphone, ireb, tinyumbrella, sn0wbreeze, recboot, spirit, redsn0w and pwnage to jailbreak and exit recovery mode. I have restore the iphone many times, but it is still in recovery mode. I have a iphone 2g and do not know the fimeware because the iphone is in recovery mode. PLease help... if it is not helpless. Thank you.

    WTF?
Why would you try to use every JB program out there? Every device and firmware version has its specific program and version to JB.
Same way you dont put a nail on the wall using a jackhammer or kill a fly using a shotgun:D
Plug your iphone 2G to itunes first and restore it. If that doesnt work put it in DFU restore mode: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034
Are you using a mac or windows?
What are you trying to do JB or both JB and unlock it?

So did you try restoring it using itunes to the latest 3.1.3 for the 2G?
