I’m looking at Cherry Creek since the mail opens at 6am. I could get there and line up early or Aspen Grove.

    I’m not sure yet

That is a nice one, indoors even. That’s the one drawback to the one in Boulder, it’s in an open air mall. The next closer one is Flaturons but I don’t think the mall opens early.

Maybe outdoors is the way to go. Maybe less people show up :)

It’ll be cold lining up at outdoor mall overnight.

Smiley. Where are you going? Trying to convince hubby to camp out. He’ll be going to Aspen Grove. He’s looking for a camp out buddy.

I’m thinking of heading to Cherry creek. It’s indoors and the mall opens at 6am. I can sleep

Have you been to cherry creek for launch before? In previous launches, even in an indoor more, there have been people camping outside the mall entrance waiting. That wasn’t cherry creek. It was a different city.

I haven’t. However the mall opens late. They also won’t let people hang around. I’ve been checking.
Aspen Grove is a nice spot too

If I show up to the Boulder store around 6:30, do you think I'll be good?

I was going to head over there around 5AM but it might not be worth it if I will get there and there will already be 50 people lined up and many of those holding spots for people that cruise in at 745am.

Based on the 10 minute pre-order sellout I don't expect that most stores are going to have more than 100-200 phones spread across all the variations available.

    Depressing.

Was thinking of swinging by the Boulder store at 5am. If it looks doable, I'll stick around. They probs have at least 100 maybe? who knows...

There are way more than that here. Probably up to 100 pretty soon.

Okay something weird going on. Everyone suddenly started moving towards the entrance but nobody knows what is going on other than some argument about 256gb in space grey for a specific carrier.

This is turning into a cluster

Man hope it calms down! Apple store employees are here now, super friendly, setting up the line dividers. We will get asked what phone we want at 7:15...

Same here. Doing first 20 then issuing everyone else at 8. Then come back later. Once you have the reservation that’s your phone till the end of the day. They’re waiting till 8 for everyone else as all California stores will be coming online very soon and they don’t want to crash the system.

They handed out reservations for those already in line. My husband says they are still handing out reservations. Not sure what’s left.

I was about number 60 in line and showed up at 1AM, I'm not sure if it's true but I heard Aspen Grove had the longest line in CO even though it was 27 degrees, foggy and miserable.

Many were camping in their cars with lawn chairs to hold their spots.

90% of the people ahead of me spent 15 minutes asking Apple where they could send the Verizon unlocked phones and have them work, they were mostly privateers or scalpers buying max # of phones so they could flip them for easy money in China, Vietnam, etc... then they would argue about how many phones they could buy or argue about why they couldn't send one person back to pick up all 10 phones from their group.

They ran out of Verizon completely with about 15 ahead of me... I needed AT&T so it was fine, I got the phone I wanted, or will when I go back at 2pm to pick my reservation up.

It was an interesting experience but the mob of scalpers left a sour taste in my mouth and ruined the spirit of it for me, I won't be doing it again.

As of 10am, AT&T phones are still available at Aspen Grove.
