So over break I had a pretty interesting conversation with my Retired Uncle who used to work for Apple during the 80s and 90's. Which he primarily worked on their LCD's and then eventually outsourcing those LCD's to various Japanese Manufactures for what I want to call Candy Coated IMACS (These Guys:

Anyways Today Apple is a very different company and my Uncle although retired is very fascinated with LCDs, LEDs and OLEDs as he has more or less spent the greater portion of his life working with this technology. He explained to me that OLEDs are new and a breakthrough in that they were finally able to create Blue Lights, or a Blue LED which they had struggled to manufacture in prior years. And he went on further to explain how Blacks Look Great in OLEDs because they are simply off. And actually when you look at APs like Netflix you'll see a large amount of Blacks within the Applications Background with little to no Leakage (like it's Very Black).
I actually had overlooked this for several days/weeks now and never cared to really notice that. Because as you know we have alot of people complaining about the black borders on various videos, aps etc. But yea those blacks actually do look great, and it's impressive just how black they really are, lol.
But when making a phone call the background (During an actual Call) with options or a dialpad appears to have a tone of black that simulate leakage. I was thinking that this needs to be updated/refreshed to be just black, or is something else going on here?
I guess I'm now paying alot of attention to the various colors that my screen displays, and the one time Black shows up on my screen and I'm like hmmm... that doesn't seem right.
