Iphoto 09 slideshow help.

I am having an annoying problem with iphoto 09. It happens that I have created a slideshow with around 180 photos and 10 small clips (iphone,canon sd1100). I used 2 different mp3 songs and the ken burns theme. It plays great during preview but for some reason when I export in quicktime movie format, the songs start playing almost at half of the slideshow and not at the beginning of the slideshow. I also get some black portions of about 20 seconds between photos. Am I doing something wrong? or is there any solutions to fix this problem?
