I urgently need to open photos from iPhoto in PhotoshopCS so that I can edit (in particular I need to to resize, crop, and reduce the JPEG size).

I’ve set preferences to:- “double click – open in other – Photoshop CS”.
I double click on the picture and PhotoshopCS opens – but no picture.!
I’ve also tried dragging the picture from iPhoto to Photoshop (in Dock). Still doesn’t open. I hope someone help me on this.

In iPhoto (2.0.1):
I don’t seem to be able to Crop – the icon is greyed-out.
Also there doesn’t seem to be any way to reduce JPEG sizes in iPhoto .
Is it me, or is iPhoto very limited in editing options?

I hope you guys out there can help.
