iPhoto Buddy exception

Recently iPhoto Buddy has started giving this error when starting:
An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down.

Reinstalling the latest version did not clear up the error.

A general search did not turn up any useful info. Any suggestions on troubleshooting?
