We might need to start a charity fund to get you a .mac account. It seems I can't read a thread without seeing a post from you about having to pay for something. Well, Cuba is the only communist country, maybe they have software developers that work for the state and that the government gives away for free. Personally I would rather Apple make money so that they can continue to innovate.Originally posted by ShaolinMiddleFinger
People.....I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly want to charge for this when it comes out. Apple's Charges SUCK!
If the iPod doesn't have the processing power to decode MP3s without a dedicated chip, why would it be able to decode AAC files with just a firmware upgrade? The rest of the device uses a dedicated MP3 decoder and controller chip from PortalPlayer
Yes ipod does currently recognise smart playlists in so far as you can put them on your ipod and select the playlist to update automatically. It will not however keep track of the playcount on the ipod until after the update(early Aug.)Originally posted by Macette
I want iCal NOW. It's so mean to show it off and how cool it is, and then say 'you've gotta wait until September'... grrr. And I want the clock for my iPod now, too. Does iPod already recognise Smart Playlists? Maybe I will check this myself.
