after being realy, REALY irritated by the apple phone support personal, they wouldnt help me, im out of my 90 days, so its fair enough, but still irritating. and the support site they dircedted me to is down at the moment... how usefull

The store i bought the iPod from wont help me at all, they said.... we can look at it, and if it turns out to be a non-hardware issue well charge u $60AU.... so i said get (*&^*

    Neway to the point

im using max OS X panther, and the iPod has been used for 9 months without problems.
now when i plug it in using FireWire it says that OSX cannot read the disk and wether i want to initilise, i tried doing this once, and it didnt help. i dont know what else to try, and i doubt this is a hardware problem so if i send it into apple, they will probably find nothing wrong, and ill have to pay for the shipping, which i would prefer not to do.

so if you could halp it would be most apreciated
