iPod touch Ipod broken after update

Every time I play a song, depends, it stops playing and then the volume bar goes back and forth. Does it on the you tube videos also. Also seems like the sound changes. Like after it does that the sound is more quiet. And it's still on the same volume. I've restored it 3 times and can't recall the number of times I've reset it. This only started to happen when I installed the 4.0 update.


It also has had 4 streaks in it. But it didn't effect how the iPod played. Until... maybe now?

You should probably either downgrade to 3.1.2 or put it in DFU mode and then try a restore. What gen touch is this?

If this is a 2nd gen, then i suggest downgrading. But if its a 3rd gen then put it in DFU mode and then restore.
