I haven't seen them in person yet, but I have a question about the UI and how shuffling songs works on the Classic...

Let's say you're drilling down through Genre > Artist > Album > Songs

Is there a "Shuffle all" option at the top of each of these levels (like there is on AppleTV) or is it like the old iPods, where you have to go all the way back out to the main menu and go through Settings > Shuffle to listen to an artist/album on shuffle?

Thanks.

:( Bummer. I really like the newer way. I often browse, not sure what I want to listen to, and don't know if I want to listen on shuffle or not until after I've selected what I want to listen to.

Thanks for the info, though.

Actually.. I just checked and if you're playing something, anything, album or playlist or an entire artist, cycle through with the centre button while on the now playing screen and the option for shuffle (songs/albums/off) comes up!

I think this is what you're after, shouldn't need to go back to the settings page :)
