iPod iPod Mini not working with iSync... help?

When I try to set up my iPod Mini as a device in iSync, iSync reports "no devices found."

Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm trying to get my Address Book contacts onto my iPod, and the iTunes Preferences aren't getting it done.

If you are using itunes 4.9 syncing is now done within itunes not isync.

Yeh, i can confirm that.

I always used to use isync with my ipod, then one day it no longer found it.

Almost furious with rage, i then remembered that i'd just updated itunes, and that it was syncing everything through that (much easier!). So i believe thats why.

Thanks. Too bad the iTunes syncing doesn'w work. I just exported my contacts as vCards and placed them in the iPod contacts folder.

This is a daft question, but do you have the latest iTunes 4.9 installed as well as the latest iPod software?

Ah, mmm, in that case have you tried reformatting your iPod? (Worth a try!)
