iPod ipod not importing

Hello,
I have been having a problem importing audio cds to the Itunes library. The problem is that when it starts importing it only imports 5-8 seconds of each song. How can I fix this problem? Please help!

Weird. What did you import your music as (160kbps mp3 or whatever)? Maybe try a different setting.

I have tried mp3 and the other settings and it still doesnt work. It used to work fine but recently it started acting up. I only have 1300 songs with a 20g IPOD. I dont know what the problem is?

Are you having the problems getting the tracks into iTunes or onto the iPod? If the problem is with the iPod, try giving it a restore using the latest iPod Software Updater from the Apple site. You'll lose everything on your iPod though.

the problem is importing to the itunes library. It only imports 5-8 seconds of each song from a cd.
