iPod iPod playlist alphabetical order

Hi,
I have a 30GB ipod with a few playlists. I would like to sort the playlists in alphabetical order (song name or artist) but I don't know how to do it. I understand when you have itunes opened you can sort the playlist any way you want, but I'm talking about when I use my ipod. Can anyone help?

normally i think on a ipod it's already alphabetical, but in itunes you just click above on the bar where artist, songname ... is written on it so that a arrow will point up or down, then you have it either from a to Z or Z to A click again on the artist or songname and it's the other way around.
