I'm sure someone with an iPod Touch can answer this for me.

I have an iPod in my car. It's old, so when I buy new music, I have to dig and unstrap the thing out of the armrest, bring it in, sync it, pick which playlists and make sure the new albums sync, take it back to the car...

I'd love to just park my car at home and let the iPod automatically pick up the Wifi signal, and automatically download my new tunes. Does the iCloud functionality do that - or do you have to go in and tap Download from the Purchased section of iTunes store every time?

You're saying the music I buy on my computer ... won't sync to an iPod Touch without iTunes Match??

I figured it'd download over Wifi without iTunes match, but my question was will it happen on its own or do I have to pull out the iPod and tell it to download from the cloud once I get in my car?

Sorry I misunderstood at first. If your iPod touch is plugged into a power source and it is within range of your home computer, you can wirelessly sync it with iOS5. It should do it automatically. If it doesnt do it automatically, you can force it to by going into Settings > General > iTunes Wifi Sync and hitting "Sync Now"
