iPod Touch 2g jailbreak error HELP!!!!

Hi,
I'm using FinalSnow on my Mac which is running Tiger version 10.4.11
and i can go through FinalSnow perfectly fine but then when i try to restore in iTunes using the custom firmware i get this error
Can someone please help me?
The problem is caused when iTunes doesn't recognize the firmware being installed on your iPod touch.
The best way to fix this is to simply take your iPod into DFU mode restore your iPod back to the standard Apple firmware, and try the jailbreak again.
