iPod touch iPod Touch Giving Ad-Hoc Signal

I was wondering if the iPod Touch 3g can give out adhoc signal? Like say its connected to home wireless router, but an app that can make the iPod itself send out ad-hoc. I want to be able to play PSP :( I don't want to buy the wifimax or a ps3 just to play it online. If not possible I guess I have no other choice.
