that doesn't mean it has it. It could be firmware for a future 'mod' or addon to the touch where you would plug it in the bottom (not the headphone jack but the... usb jack..thingy) and then it enables it.

However, it is, like you said, quiet interesting and I certainly hope that they have it. Its feasible that its a mod w/ the usb jack so that you couldnt connect a microphone to the iphd at the same time, thus creating an iphone

it probably uses the same interface the iphone has. in the iphone's case, bluetooth would be turned on and off in the ipod's.
 
Mmm. I am SURE they did this to stop people using BT to link to their Touches to their non iPhones, and thus eroding iPhone sales.
