iPod touch iPod Touch messenger question. not web based.

Can I install the mac.messenger for iTouch?
or if not, are there any messenger program that can be installed on iTouch? or we have to stick to the web-based messenger? because I dont like web-based messenger.

You can install Apollo which will give you access to AIM, MSN, ICQ and .MAC accounts. Apollo requires the BSD Subsystem so make sure you install it too.

Yes you do need to jailbreak your ipod .

Finish the tutorial but once you hit the point where Installer.app is installed and on your SpringBoard, you can access the BSD Subsystem from there.

if all you want is msn for the touch check out https://iphone.beejive.com, as you have to be in wifi with the touch anyway, this would save you from hailbreaking

thats right yes. but if all you want is messenger then this is just as easy (and in my opinion better than the native apollo messenger app.
