Can I install the mac.messenger for iTouch?
or if not, are there any messenger program that can be installed on iTouch? or we have to stick to the web-based messenger? because I dont like web-based messenger.

You can install Apollo which will give you access to AIM, MSN, ICQ and .MAC accounts. Apollo requires the BSD Subsystem so make sure you install it too.
 
where can i download the bsd subsystem? and do I need to jailbreak the ipod touch to install this?
 
thats right yes. but if all you want is messenger then this is just as easy (and in my opinion better than the native apollo messenger app.
