I'm pretty sure iPod touch prices haven't been announced to go down for the current generation (2G), but Apple's website has the 8GB for $189, 16GB for $249, and 32GB for $279. Did I miss something?
A quick search on other stores still lists their prices as $229, $299, and $399 respectively.

hmm there probally just getting ready for tommorow. and the new 16gb 32gb 64gb will take over the old prices

wow but i just realized they dropped that 32gb by 120 dollars wow hopefully this sorta translates to the new touches. cause im selling my old 32 to get the new 64gb

It's curious to see them updating the prices with the old models (well, not yet officially old :p ) still listed.

In any case, if those are the new price points, they're gonna make it hard for me to resist getting the 64GB one.... Yay?

if that pic is true, then the 16gb 2nd gen will be 20dollars more thanthe 16gb 3rd gen..... or maybe that IS the price for the 3rd gens! hahaha wishful thinking 32gb would be 280
or maybe they didnt update the ipods at all and just dropped the price! that would suck :(

but we'll see in a few hours for sure :)

32gb Touch at $279. $10 under the Zune HD 32gb. Apple's price point used to be $299. That new price is no coincidence. Thank you MS for some real competition. ;)

um i'm pretty sure they don't have to worry about the 'zune' killing their sales. even in walmart there is a row of iPods, with a giant LED sign, next to it is a regular display with MP3 players, and the zune.
