iPod touch iPod touch scratches

How scratch-proof is the ipod touch screen? I am considering buying one but it really depends on how scratch-proof the screen is. I wouldnt want to put a screen protector on the touch since you have to touch it so much and it could get annoying having a protector messing things up. But I would not be able to stand scratches on my ipod screen especially when the screen is needed so much.

So my question is how scratch proof is the iPod touch screen?

While I've only had mine for a few days I believe it is made of the same tempered glass as the iPhone - that being said my roommate has had an iPhone since June and he puts that thing through hell and it doesn't have a mark on it.

go on youtube and search iphone scratch test, then figure the screen is the same as the touch... there ya go another touch solf for apple
