I think I need to go to the Apple Store, but I want to avoid that if at all possible. The screen to my iTouch is completely frozen. Anytime I try to slide to unlock it, it does nothing. If the password screen comes up, I can't put in the numbers. I have restored it and got through that process, but the screen is still frozen! Can anyone help me, or should I go to the Apple Store?

If you haven't tried already...Hold the power and home button down at the same time, it should restart/reboot.

edit: just re-read and saw you restored it also. Does sound like Apple store is a good idea.

This happens a lit to me all you have to do is drain the battery so it shuts off. Then plug it in it should be back to normal. This is want I do with my first gen iPod.:D

I tried that.... three times. It still didn't work. :(
It's a 2nd Generation iTouch.
Does that even matter?
